Hibs U-20s will play home matches at Oriam this season.

The Easter Road development team played at Spartans’ Ainslie Park in the previous two seasons, but head of football operations George Craig was keen to ensure the club forged a link with Oriam, Scotland’s brand new performance centre.

An arrangement is in place for the development team to play on the indoor 3G pitch within the state-of-the-art facility, with a view to using Oriam for further ventures as they arise.

Ironically, the Hibs youngsters’ first game at their new home pits them against Hearts, who have Riccarton as their long-term training base. The Tynecastle youngsters will continue to play their home matches at Ochilview, Stenhousemuir.

Tomorrow’s mini-derby kicks off at 2pm. Admission is free but voluntary donations can be made.
