Hibs fans win the mother of all prizes at Easter Road

Evening News readers Louise Douglas and Jonathan Fisher have each won a place for their mums at Utilita Energy's Mother's Day table for Hibs' clash with Dumbarton at Easter Road on March 18.

We asked Hibbies to tell us why their mum should have the chance to enjoy a great day’s hospitality and Louise wrote: “My mum Nicola has always been there for me and I don’t know what I would do without her. She has been a single parent for practically all of my life and I want her to be able to have this amazing day at Hibernian Football Club. She’s always supported the club and I know how much she would love spending the day at Easter Road.”

Jonathan, meanwhile, revealed he has his mum Anne to thank for being a Hibby, writing: “My mum Anne goes with me all over the country to watch Hibs and has been watching them for over 40 years. She’s the reason I’m a Hibs fan and I don’t know where I would be without her. She’s recently turned 60 and she would absolutely love to experience hospitality at her beloved Easter Road.”
