Hibs given extra tickets for League Cup semi-final

Hibs have been handed an additional 600 tickets for Saturday's Scottish League Cup semi-final clash against St Johnstone at Tynecastle.

The Easter Road club had sold out their allocation, but have now received 500 more seats in the main stand plus 100 more in the Wheatfield Stand.

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £5 for under 16s. They are on sale at the Hibernian Ticket Office, online at eticketing.co.uk or by calling 0844 844 1875 option 1.

St Johnstone, who have sold out the Roseburn Stand, had hoped to get extra tickets in Section N Upper of the main stand. However, following advice on segregation, the SPFL decided to give the seats to Hibs.

Saints posted on their official website: “St Johnstone FC fully understands and shares the disappointment this outcome will cause ticketless supporters and will provide a response in due course.”
