Third-placed Hibees are targeting a victory at New Douglas Park that would put them within striking distance of City with a game in hand.

Roberts said: “We’re looking forward to it. These are the games the players want to play in. There’s no fear going into these games because we genuinely feel we’re title contenders and expect to win every game regardless of who it’s against.

“We expect a tough game against Glasgow but we don’t have any concerns with injuries so were going into it with a full squad.”

Spartans face Celtic at the K-Park Training Academy seeking the three points that would put them level with their opponents. In SWPL 2, Hearts – 3-1 winners over Hamilton Accies last weekend – will look to retain top spot at home against third-placed Glasgow Girls.

Hutchison Vale will have their sights set on third spot when they host Hamilton.
