With tickets in the North, West and East Stands all purchased, the Easter Road club had made an extra 1500 briefs available to their fans in the South Stand – usually given in its entirely to Rangers supporters – and those seats have been snapped up within a matter of days.

Rangers issued a statement last week hitting out at Hibs for effectively cutting their allocation in half, but it is anticipated that the Ibrox club will sell all of their tickets, ensuring a sell-out.

The match has the potential to be a decider for runner-up in the league and qualification for Europe next season, with both sides currently three points behind second-placed Aberdeen with three games to play.
