Both the on-loan Manchester City winger and the club captain are back in full training after being sidelined by hamstring and Achilles problems respectively.

Barker has been out since pulling up early in the victory over Rangers at Ibrox on February 3, while Gray suffered his injury as he crumpled in pain in a winter-break friendly against Dutch side Willem II in the Algarve on January 12. Hibs initially feared the captain’s season might be over, but he has recovered well and he and Barker could be in the squad for the visit of a Celtic side who will secure the Premiership title if they win at Easter Road.

The return of either or both of those players would be a welcome boost to manager Neil Lennon, who will be without midfield pair Marvin Bartley and Scott Allan against the champions-elect. Bartley is suspended, while Allan is not permitted to face his parent club.
