One member of the Lanarkshire club – understood to be a first team player – has been ruled out of the Easter Road fixture and is now self isolating.

Training was reportedly cancelled yesterday, but the rest of the Hamilton squad returned to their pre-match preparations today.

In a statement, Accies said: “The club can confirm one individual has produced a positive result from Monday’s COVID-19 testing. This individual is now isolating as per Scottish Government and JRG guidelines.”

Earlier this month St Mirren were forced to sign Bobby Zlamal on emergency loan from Hearts when positive tests forced Jim Goodwin to be without his three first team goalkeepers – Jak Alnwick, Dean Lyness and Peter Urminsky for a match with Hibs.
