Hibs: 16 'younger Scottish players' Jack Ross could target after outlining transfer strategy

Jack Ross has outlined Hibs’ transfer strategy – seeking out the young talent in Scotland to be coached and improved under the auspices of East Mains.

It has worked for Kevin Nisbet, who has scored 18 goals in his maiden top flight season after being plucked from Championship side Dunfermline last summer, and Hibs are hoping for similar success with Daniel Mackay after signing the winger from Inverness on a pre-contract agreement.

Such signings are a “gamble”, according to the manager, but it’s a chance that Hibs are willing to take.

With that in mind we take a look at 16 other options from around Scotland the club could turn to, following the same transfer philosophy, to build on and develop this season’s visits to Hampden and third-placed league finish.
