Hibs might be hoping to gain an aerodynamic edge over their rivals this season after announcing a new sponsorship deal with men’s grooming brand Manscaped.

The company, which describes itself as “the world’s category leader in male below-the-waist grooming and hygiene”, launched in the UK earlier this year.

Hibernian F.C. is the first club in Scotland that Manscaped has splashed out on.

South of the border, it has already promoted its brand with English club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

And further afield, the company has signed lucrative deals with the UFC, the San Francisco 49ers, NASCAR, the Los Angeles Kings, and the Sydney Roosters.

Manscaped said the buzz around the balls at Easter Road presented a business opportunity that was too good to miss.

It has turfed out an undisclosed fee for LED and TV-arc logo placements around the 20,400-seater ground.

The company has also promised a series of social media stunts to keep Hibs fans engaged throughout the season.

Laying out the bald facts behind the new business decision, Joey Kovac, Senior Director of Marketing at Manscaped, said: “We are seeing strong metrics coming out of Scotland and knew we wanted to have a presence in the Scottish Premiership.

“As we scout out the right partners, we look for organizations that genuinely embrace our brand. We’re happy to have found just that in Hibernian.”

The Hibs managemet, meanwhile, will be hoping the deal goes smoothly - and that it isn’t cut too short.

“We’re delighted to add Manscaped to our growing partnership family,” said Murray Milligen, Hibernian’s Commercial Manager.

“As a club, it’s our first male grooming partnership, and it’s great to work with such an ambitious company with a global outlook.

“We look forward to helping them grow their brand in the UK.”

Sport is an integral part of the Manscaped marketing strategy, with them already working with global sporting brands, so I’m honored they’ve chosen Hibernian as the first club to work with here in Scotland.

“It’s testament to our appeal as a club,” Murray added.
