Hibs have rejected a series of late transfer deadline-day bids for prized midfielder Scott Allan from Dundee United, with the highest offer believed to be in region of £250,000.
The Arabs, who had Allan as a youngster before selling him to West Brom in 2012, were looking to strengthen their midfield with the imminent departure of Stuart Armstrong, who was expected to sign for Celtic in a £1.6million move.
However, Hibs dismissed the offers from Dundee United. They were never truly interested in selling the 23-year-old.
Allan’s contract at Hibs expires in the summer of 2016.
