Hibs-Rangers clash provisionally moved to Monday night

Have your say

HIBS have been lined up to face Rangers on a Monday night at Easter Road – unless either team, or both, reach the quarter-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup.

The Hibees’ clash with the Championship leaders – originally scheduled for Saturday, March 5 – has been provisionally moved for coverage on Sky Sports to Monday, March 7, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

However, should Hibs or Rangers – or both – come through their cup ties this weekend against Kilmarnock and Hearts respectively and be involved in a last-eight tie on March 5, the league match will take place on either Tuesday, April 19 or Wednesday, April 20 with a kick-off time still to be confirmed.

And Hibs’ home fixture with Falkirk has been moved to Friday, April 15 (7.45pm), this time for coverage on BT Sport.
