HIBS have signed former Paris St Germain striker Franck Dja Djedje on an 18-month deal.
Head coach Alan Stubbs swooped for the 28-year-old, who has also had spells at Grenoble, Strasbourg, Nice, Chornomorets Odesa and Dinamo Minsk.
Dja Djedje, who represented the Ivory Coast at the 2008 Olympics, told hibernianfc.co.uk, said: “This is a brilliant club and I’m very excited about playing for Hibernian in Scotland.
“My objective is to help the club to achieve promotion this year by scoring goals and helping the team.”
Stubbs said: “We’re really excited that we’ve managed to get Franck on board – he will give us another dimension in attack.
“Franck is an intelligent player, who has good movement, he is quick and he scores goals.
“We’re delighted that we’ve managed to sign him and we welcome him into the squad.”
Dja Djedje, who will be available to play in Saturday’s home match against Falkirk, is Hibs’ second arrival of the January transfer window so far following the loan signing of Dundee’s Martin Boyle.
