Hibs have signed former Raith Rovers goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw on a one-year contract.
The 23-year-old had been training at East Mains since his release by Rovers where he’d played for five years, largely in a back-up role to David McGurn and then Kevin Cuthbert.
Last season, he was loaned out to Elgin for the latter half of the campaign.
Hibs head coach Neil Lennon had been on the look-out for a new goalkeeper after Scottish Cup-winning stopper Conrad Logan was released following a short-term contract.
Young Finnish player Otso Virtanen and Mark Oxley – who has been attracting interest from Southend United – are the other goalkeepers at Easter Road.
