Hibs surpass the 4,000 mark for season tickets as next 1,000 fans are thanked

The Hibs support has responded in huge numbers

Hibs have passed through the 4,000 mark for season ticket sales.

The club announced the next 1,000 fans to have purchased their briefs for next season with their interactive video which has supporters’ names on the back of the team’s strip.

Hibs launched their season tickets for the 2020/2021 campaign at the end of March as the country was facing uncertainty.

That hasn’t stopped fans answering the club’s call for support during a difficult period.

Hibs tweeted: “We're in danger of repeating ourselves, but thank you. That's us through the 4000-mark for season tickets. Easter Road wasn't built to be empty and we can't wait to see you all back where you belong.”

There remains questions regarding when next season will begin with the current campaign expected to be finished on a points per game system.

Hibs voted in favour of the SPFL’s resolution to terminate the leagues below the Premiership with the top flight expected to follow if ratified by Uefa this season.

That would see Celtic crowned champions and bottom of the table Hearts demoted.
