Hibs are to face Shrewsbury Town in a friendly on Sunday, July 31.
The Shrews have announced on their club website that they will host Neil Lennon’s men at the Greenhaus Meadow as part of the club’s open day. Kick-off will be at 12.30pm, with admission £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
Micky Mellon’s side are currently in Skybet League 1 and have former Hibs players Ryan McGivern and Gary Deegan in their ranks, as well as former Hearts and Rangers midfielder Ian Black.
Shrewsbury chief executive Brian Caldwell said: “We are delighted that Hibs have agreed to the game and it will be good to have the Scottish Cup holders at the Greenhous Meadow.
“We did have some issues getting a game on the Sunday to coincide with the open day but we have got one.
“I think it will be the first time that Hibs have visited the Greenhous Meadow and we look forward to welcoming them on Sunday 31st July.
“It will be a 12:30pm kick-off and for the open day there will be activity before the game and plenty more afterwards.
“Micky’s delighted that we have got Hibs as he wanted a good test especially in the final pre-season match and he knows that they are a good footballing side.”
