Martin Boyle is not thought to be a target for Huddersfield Town, despite reports linking the Hibs winger with a move to the English Championship.

Terriers boss Danny Cowley is understood to be seeking a right-sided winger before the January transfer window closes but reports that scouts ran the rule over the Australia internationalist during the Easter Road side's 4-2 Scottish Cup replay win on Tuesday night are wide of the mark, according to sources close to the club.

The Examiner reports that while Boyle fits the bill, Town are not pursuing the 26-year-old's services.

Former Dundee winger Boyle has been in fine form for Hibs since returning from a second serious knee injury.

He has six goals and six assists from 20 appearances this season, including doubles against rivals Hearts and Aberdeen.
