Goals from Ryan Porteous and Jamie Gullan kept Hibs Under-20s at the top of the SPFL Development League after a 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock at Oriam.
Grant Murray’s men move back to the summit on 28 points, two clear of Aberdeen in second on 26, while Kilmarnock remain joint bottom on seven.
Hibs handed a start to Lithuanian striker Deivydas Matulevicius, who played the last three minutes for the senior team againt Partick last weekend.
Hibs took the lead just before half-time when Porteous rose highest to power home a cross from Adam Watson.
Kilmarnock, who had Greg Kiltie in their starting XI, looked to have salvaged a point on 82 minutes when Daniel Higgins drove the ball past Kevin Dabrowski in the Hibs goal. Parity, however, only lasted a minute when Gullan latched on to Matulevicius flick-on and fired home the winner.
Hibs Under-20s: Dabrowski, Donaldson, Crane, Porteous, Campbell, Stirling, Watson, I Murray, Matulevicius, F Murray, Gullan.
