Hibs travel to Motherwell in the Ladbrokes Premiership looking for consecutive league wins since Jack Ross' first two matches in charge. A possible omen could be the identify of the opposition, as Motherwell were one of the two clubs bettered successively in November.

In order to do so, Ross will have to get a better performance from his side than the one endured during the first hour of Wednesday's win over Hamilton Accies.

It wasn't until the introductions of Stephane Omeonga (for his second debut), Joe Newell and Daryl Horgan that Hibs started to show their worth at Easter Road. It's likely at least two of those will find themselves in the starting XI. If they play like they did in the last 30 minutes against Motherwell's Lanarkshire rivals then they'll stand every chance of leaving with three points against a home side possibly without a couple of key members in attack.

However, another poor showing and it's more than likely that all three points with be remaining out west. The Steelmen are currently four points clear in third place and 12 points ahead of their opponents. They won't need much encouragement.

Martin Boyle will play for the first time after it was revealed the winger is being monitored by Celtic. It is being reported the club will demand £1.5 million for the Australian international if the reigning champions make a move.

Motherwell team news: The home side could be without Christopher Long after the striker picked up a knock against Aberdeen in midweek. The same goes for Christian Ilic, who replaced Long before being forced off himself. The Steelmen are a little light in attack with Jermaine Hylton likely to miss out. Recent signing Mikael Ndjoli could make his league debut.

Probable Motherwell line-up: Gillespie; Grimshaw, Hartley, Gallagher, Carroll; Donnelly, Campbell, Polworth; Seedorf, Scott, Ndjoli.

Hibs team news: There are no fresh worries for Jack Ross after Wednesday's win over Hamilton. Jason Naismith and Ryan Porteous are starting their road back to fitness after both suffering knee injuries, while Stevie Mallan remains on the sidelines.

Probable Hibs line-up: Marciano; Gray, Jackson, Hanlon, Stevenson; Omeonga, Newell; Boyle, Allan, Kamberi; Doidge.

Key clash: The hosts could be without three of their attackers so a lot of the burden may fall on young James Scott. Even if the Hibs defence, marshalled by Paul Hanlon, can make sure the attacker in ineffectual then the visitors could get a clean sheet. If that happens then there's more than enough firepower down the other end to nick a goal and all three points.
