Central defender Paul Hanlon has signed a new three-year deal with Hibs.

The 26-year-old made 44 appearances for the Easter Road club last season – scoring two goals – and was a member of the team which ended Hibs’ 114-year wait to win the Scottish Cup when they beat Rangers 3-2 at Hampden last month.

Hanlon’s contract expired at the end of last season but his new deal will now see him line up for new head coach Neil Lennon as Hibs bid to win promotion back to the Ladbrokes Premiership.
