The young centre-back was the subject of a £1 million bid from Millwall in the January transfer window and the Easter Road side are braced for renewed interest in the Scottish youth international this summer.

One of the teams chasing Porteous, the Scottish Sun reports, is Champions League hopefuls Galatasaray. The Super Lig side finished second last season and are looking to bolster their squad of the new campaign.

A seven-figure bid is expected in the next week. It is similar to the offer submitted by Millwall but with a number of add-ons which could make the overall value much greater.
