Hibs head coach Jack Ross has admitted he is concerned by knee injuries picked up by defenders Jason Naismith and Ryan Porteous in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Dundee United.

Both players had to come off in the Scottish Cup fourth-round tie at Tannadice and are doubts for Wednesday's game at home to Hamilton as the Ladbrokes Premiership campaign resumes.

Naismith was replaced by David Gray at half-time after suffering his injury just before the break, while Porteous was replaced by Darren McGregor seven minutes into the second half.

Ross said: “It’s obviously not ideal in terms of trying to affect the game later on given the fact we had to make two defensive changes which is quite unusual early in the game.

“Both will be assessed, but at the moment it’s concerning. Both Jason and Ryan have had knee injuries in recent times as well. It’s certainly worrying for us at the moment.”
