Martin Boyle bagged a second-half brace as Hibs avoided a cup shock against Stranraer at Stair Park.

Christian Doidge scored seven minutes before the break and Kevin Nisbet was on target with a deflected free kick as Jack Ross’ side ran out 4-0 winners to set up a Scottish Cup fourth-round meeting with Motherwell at Easter Road.

The Blues had their chances, with Matt Macey saving from James Hilton and Matty Yates but truth be told, Hibs never looked in any danger.
