Livingston have re-signed winger Myles Hippolyte on a one-year deal.
The popular Englishman has committed his future to Livi for another season, returning to pre-season training with the rest of his team-mates yesterday. The 20-year-old, mostly used from the substitutes’ bench last season, really found his form in the final few weeks of the campaign just ended, scoring against both Hibs and Rangers at the Energy Assets Arena as Livi preserved their Championship berth on the final day of the season. He also played a key role in the final of the Petrofac Training Cup as Livi cruised to a 4-0 victory over Alloa at McDiarmid Park.
Manager Mark Burchill has also added experienced striker Liam Buchanan and former Stranraer defender Jackson Longridge to his squad on two-year deals. Buchanan, 30, played and scored against the Lions last season for fellow strugglers Alloa.
Longridge, 20, bolsters Burchill’s defence after Callum Fordyce and Jason Talbot signed for League One Dunfermline.
