Broxburn Athletic’s maiden Scottish Cup journey lives on as they secured a tremendous 1-0 victory away to Highland League outfit Inverurie Locos thanks to striker Zander Miller’s late winner.

The Albyn Park men will fly the flag for the East of Scotland League in the fourth round of the competition and could be pitted against any of the Scottish Premiership clubs when the draw is made on Sunday evening.

Miller popped up after 82 minutes to send a large visiting support barmy to put Brian McNaughton’s men through. Broxburn must’ve thought their champagne moment was their third round victory over Cowdenbeath, but they could yet make further progress.
