Rose left it late to take the points against a home side which finished with nine men. Rose dominated possession but found themselves two down to goals from Darren Hay. Deep into added time, Kerr Young fired home a deserved winner against a home side side who had Russell Grierson and Shaun Leishman sent off.

Guy Kerr’s early strike gave Tranent the lead but it was all square after 25 minutes when Ross Tierney crashed home a Callum Robertson corner. Minutes later, Armadale were in front when Robertson’s free-kick was headed home by Liam Kane. Tranent’s new signing Scott McNaughton headed home the equaliser in the 54th minute before Kayne Paterson grabbed the winner for Tranent. In the closing minutes, Dale keeper Dylan Rooney was red-carded after hauling down Paterson in the box but sub keeper Brian King saved Ben Miller’s spot-kick.
