Rossvale 1

Rose came from behind to win comfortably in the end. Rossvale started well and Gary McGrath gave them a third-minute lead. Rose responded when Dean Hoskins headed a ninth-minute equaliser. Rose edged in front on 44 minutes when Lewis Turner scored a fine individual goal. A headed effort from Kieron McGachie made it three for the home side and they might have added to their total but for good keeping from Jamie Donnelly.

Bo’ness cruised through against a Dalry side who finished with eight men. It was 1-0 at the break with Stuart Hunter heading home from a corner. Bo’ness made it two immediately after the interval when Hunter fired home a right-footed volley from a Robert Sloan cross. Fraser Eddington made it three before referee Chris Gentle sent off Robert Boyd and Chris McGowan Jr for dissent. Bo’ness made it four through Keast before David Gillies saw red late on.

Musselburgh fought back in the second half with a resilient display. Jeanfield shocked the home side by taking the lead in the 28th minute with a strike from Dean Holden. They doubled their lead seven minutes later when Tony Holt was on hand to knock the ball into the net from close range. Musselburgh controlled the second half with substitute Connor Spowart pulling a goal back in the 70th minute. Mattu King equalised with eight minutes remaining.

With both sides passing up several chances in a fairly even first half, the deadlock broken just before the interval when Lochee’s Reece Ritchie scored from a Bryan Deasley cross. With Nitten chasing the equaliser, the game was put beyond them in the 63rd minute. Some slack play in the Nitten defence allowed Ritchie to poke home a second goal for the visitors as Newtongrange slumped to another home defeat that sees them languishing at the foot of the table.

Penicuik opened the scoring in the fourth minute when a superb Jancyzk pass set Montgomery free on the left and his first time cross was blasted home by Keith Lough. Penicuik doubled their lead in the 12th minute with a goal from Aaron Somerville. Darrell Young headed home a third in the 33rd minute before Broxburn pulled one back through Donnelly six minutes later. Penicuik quickly restored their three-goal lead when Somerville scored one minute before half-time. Broxburn scored two minutes into the second half with a goal from Anderson, but Penicuik added fifth in the 49th minute through Craig Hume. Substitute Scott Richards added a third for Broxburn in the 70th minute to round off the scoring.
