Livingston in double swoop

LIVINGSTON have signed Scotland internationalist Maurice Ross and former Norwich City midfielder Mark Fotheringham on short-term contracts.

Both players have agreed deals at Almondvale until January having been free agents for several weeks since the summer transfer window closed. They are hoping to showcase themselves in the First Division whilst lending their experience to what is a relatively young Livingston team.

Raymond Sparkes, the agent who represents both Ross and Fotheringham, said: “I couldn’t think much further than Livingston, which is a very well run ship. When I made contact with the boys there, they jumped at the chance.

“The boys are playing for expenses and there will be win bonuses.”
