Livingston have announced the signings of defensive duo Ben Gordon and Ross Millen on one-year deals.
Gordon, 29, comes in as an experienced central defender having made 134 appearances for Championship rivals Alloa in four years with the club. He could be an early candidate for the position of club captain after Jason Talbot rejected a new deal to sign on at Dunfermline.
Millen, son of former Hibs defender Andy, joins from Dunfermline having made 33 appearances last season in the full-back position. The 20-year-old can also play a more central position if required. Manager Mark Burchill said of his two latest recruits: “Ben is a player I’ve wanted to sign ever since I became manager. He is a natural leader on and off the park. Ross is a player I’ve known and watched for several years. He’s very experienced for his age, a real ball-playing full-back with a fantastic engine. We’re delighted to bring both of them into our squad and, after a lot of hard work, we beat off a lot of competition to secure their services.”
