BO’NESS UNITED gained a much-needed three points with a 2-0 win away to Armadale Thistle last night.

The BUs dropped two points at Fauldhouse United on Saturday, but they got their Super League title charge back on track with a routine victory at Volunteer Park as they cut the gap to leaders Kelty Hearts to 15 points with four games in hand.

Centre-back Stuart Hunter fired Allan McGonigal’s side into a first-half lead, before midfielder Ian Nimmo secured the win ten minutes from time.

In the Premier League,
Edinburgh United were denied their first league win of 2015 as visitors Bathgate Thistle secured a 1-1 draw late on at Paties Road.
