Bo’ness in need of points for title charge

Have your say

Bo’ness United will be looking for all three points to maintain their slim hopes of retaining the Super League title when they take on Armadale Thistle at Volunteer Park tonight (kick-off 6.45pm).

The champions ended a run of five straight wins in the league with a 0-0 draw at Fauldhouse United on Saturday and are 18 points adrift of league leaders Kelty Hearts, although they have five games in hand and have yet to face each other in Fife.

Second-bottom Armadale are desperate for a win themselves, however, as they fight to beat the drop to the Premier League.

Elsewhere, Edinburgh United seek their first Premier League win since November when they host Bathgate Thistle at Paties Road (kick-off 6.45pm).
