Bo’ness made it two straight home wins as they beat Hill of Beath 2-1 after their game was switched from Kiers to Newtown Park.

The home side created the first chance, Andy Scott’s header easily saved by Stuart Hall, but it was Hill of Beath who took the lead after five minutes. Calum Adamson timed his run perfectly to latch onto a Gareth Wardlaw through pass before shooting past the advancing Mark Peat.

Ten minutes later Bo’ness equalised as Nicky Walker got to the near post to divert Andy Scott’s low cross into the net. In 25 minutes Bo’ness were ahead when Stewart Devine curled in a free kick from the right and Tony Jaconelli touched in at the far post.

Hill of Beath didn’t help their cause as Darren Wright was red carded just before the break and early in the second half Stuart Hall almost threw the ball into his own net. However, the keeper saved his blushes as he got to the ball just on the goal line.

Despite further efforts from Darren Gribben, Nicky Walker and Tony Jaconelli, Bo’ness were unable to add to their lead.
