Preston Athletic are again looking for a new manager after the resignation of Colin Jack.
Having already bettered last season’s Ferrari Packaging Lowland League points total, Jack felt he wouldn’t be able to achieve any more with the “restrictions” currently placed upon him.
“I have resigned from Preston for a number of reasons” said Jack.
“Having achieved more points than last season in only a third of this, I feel I can’t take the club any further with the restrictions placed on me.”
The former Hamilton and Hibs youth coach took over at the Pennypit in the summer following Willie Kirk’s move to FA Women’s Super League outfit Bristol Academy.
After a high turnover of players in the summer, the Panners have enjoyed an up-and-down start to the season, highlights including wins over Edinburgh University and East Kilbride – Saturday’s 1-1 draw against the K Park club proving to be Jack’s last game.
