Edinburgh City aim to book their spot in the Image Printers Cup final when they face Leith Athletic in tonight’s last-four clash on the Meadowbank 3G.
Boss Gary Jardine revealed his players are determined to pick up some silverware after missing out last season. Although currently top of the Lowland League, Jardine revealed he’d initially thought the cups would have brought the best chance of success for his team this term.
“It’s a big game for us” he said.
“At the start of the season I thought the cups were our best chance of success. We never won a trophy last season and winning tonight gives us a chance, but It’ll be a hard a game against a team that’s leading the East of Scotland Premier Division.”
