Linlithgow Rose will operate cash turnstiles for their highly-anticipated William Hill Scottish Cup third-round tie at home to Championship club Raith Rovers.

There will be no advance ticket sales for the match at Prestonfield on Saturday, November 1, with ticket prices set at £12 for adults and £7 for concessions.

The match will kick-off at 2pm to allow time for the game to be delayed in case there is a larger crowd than expected, although Rose secretary Jim Harkins is confident there will not be any problems.

“We could’ve taken a chance at a half-two kick-off, but if there was to be a bigger crowd than anticipated we might’ve had a problem in delaying the kick-off.

“We are expecting between 1500 and 2000 supporters with Raith Rovers telling us that they’ll have upwards of 500 there. We are pretty confident that we will get everybody in.”

If a replay is required, it will take place at Stark’s Park on Tuesday, November 11 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
