FAULDHOUSE eased into third place in the South Division last night after a thumping 8-0 win over Stoneyburn, leapfrogging Dalkeith on goal difference.
Craig Easton bagged a hat-trick against his old club, while Kenny Martin and Jamie Gallagher netted doubles and Lee Fairley also found the net.
The result gives the Parkview side a huge lift with three games in hand over leaders Falkirk.
West Calder beat Harthill 3-2 in the only other game played in the South Division.
In tonight’s Fife and Lothian’s Cup third round, South Division side Livingston are at home to Premier League Arniston. The winner plays Linlithgow in the quarter-finals.
