HIBS LADIES manager Chris Roberts insists there will no hangover from his side’s first league defeat of the season when they face Cumbernauld Colts tonight.
The Hibees lost their long undefeated record last weekend when they went down 3-0 to Aberdeen and are looking to bounce back this evening at Broadwood Stadium (kick-off 7.45) and progress to the Scottish Cup semi-finals.
“The girls were obviously very down in the immediate aftermath of the Aberdeen game because we’d enjoyed an incredible run of results this season.” said Roberts.
“The reaction this week in training has been brilliant and I can sense a real determination to go out and start another run of victories. The girls have already demonstrated their strong character this season to bounce back from our League Cup final defeat. This is another challenge and one we’ll meet head on.
“We’re under no illusions, however, and know Cumbernauld will be a tough opponent, especially through there, under the floodlights.
“Fortunately, we know quite a bit about them because they play in the same division as our development side who’ve faced them a number of times this season.”
