Dalkeith Thistle have moved quickly to appoint Jamie Burrell as their new head coach after Brian McNaughton departed the Premier League outfit for Broxburn Athletic last week.
Burrell will work with manager Willie Pearson, assistant boss Kevin Haynes and Andy Dunleavy as they bid to get out the second tier next season after missing out on the Super League play-off on goal difference this term. Burrell arrives at King’s Park having left his post at East of Scotland League side Craigroyston where he took control at the end of April. Prior to that he spent two seasons as assistant to Max Christie at Bonnyrigg Rose.
Pearson has re-signed 14 of his current playing squad for next season as they look to make it into the Super League for the first time.
