Todd Lumsden has been appointed Linlithgow Rose manager on a permanent basis.

The former Arbroath manager had assumed caretaker duties when former boss David McGlynn resigned last month – stepping up from his assistant manager role.

Lumsden was chosen by the Rose committee from a final shortlist of six applicants and will be eager to secure the Prestonfield club’s first trophy since 2013.

The former Raith Rovers and Hamilton Accies defender takes charge of his first game as permanent boss when Rose visit Fauldhouse in the Super League on Saturday.
