Linlithgow Rose league win put on ice by Camelon

LINLITHGOW ROSE had to put their champagne on ice after Camelon beat Musselburgh 3-2 in the Super League last night. The result means Rose will be crowned champions should they beat Lochee United at Prestonfield this weekend.

Camelon went three up at Olivebank last night through Kevin Kelbie, Marty Wright and Mark McCafferty before Ryan McCallum and Aaron Pointon reduced the leeway.

Elsewhere, Bo’ness beat Hill of Beath 3-1 thanks to goals from Steven Hislop and a Scott Gibb double.

In the Fife & Lothians Cup, Dalkeith saw off Bathgate 4-2. A double from Scott McNaughton along with goals from Kevin Haynes and Lloyd Richardson put Dalkeith through. On the scoresheet for Bathgate were Callum Scott and Colin Leiper.

In the Premier League 
Armadale and Penicuik drew 1-1 with Scott Brown equalising for Armadale after Steven Bunyan had put Penicuik ahead.

In the South Division, West Calder beat Blackburn 2-0 and Stoneyburn lost 2-1 at home to Pumpherston while Harthill beat Livingston 2-1.
