Club secretary Jim Harkins has revealed that there are still five candidates in the running to be new Linlithgow Rose manager, with an announcement set to be made next week.
Furthermore, the Evening News understands that one current Super League boss has held talks with the Prestonfield club.
Rose have received over 12 applications for the vacant manager’s position following Mark Bradley’s resignation after a 6-0 loss to St Andrews at the beginning of this month.
Harkins said: “It’s been quite a hard decision to take with the calibre of applicants we have interviewed. I would say that it is almost certain that we’ll announce the new manager next week.”
