New Lowland League outfit Edinburgh University will begin their campaign with a trip to fellow league newcomers BSC Glasgow on Saturday, August 2.
The Capital student club were accepted along with their opening day opponents into the new 14-team set-up in April, the 2014/15 season representing the first opportunity of promotion to SPFL League Two through the pyramid system.
Dorian Ogunro’s men gave a good account of themselves when they edged out Whitehill Welfare 1-0 in the King Cup final in May and will be in confident mood ahead of the new campaign.
Elsewhere, champions Spartans will begin the defence of their title with a home clash against Stirling University and Edinburgh City travel to play Vale of Leithen.
David Bingham’s Preston Athletic welcome Gala Fairydean Rovers to the Pennypit, while Mickey Lawson takes his Whitehill Welfare side to the Islecroft Stadium to face Dalbeattie Star.
