EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY are arguably the Ferrari Packing Lowland League’s form team and aim to continue their winning run away to Vale of Leithen tomorrow.

The students have won four of their last five league fixtures following Wednesday’s dramatic 3-2 win over BSC Glasgow in stoppage time. They sit eighth in the table at present, but head coach Dorian Ogunro admits he’s still to determine any specific targets for his players.

“I haven’t yet” he said. “I will do – maybe give it ten to twelve games and then we’ll start looking at targets because then we’ll have a stronger idea.

“I definitely want to improve on last season – it could be hard but there’s no question that we will do. How much I don’t know – I need to see another few teams first but the league’s so competitive. The boys are loving it but we need to keep pushing ourselves.”

Whitehill are also in the Borders for a trip to Yarrow Park to face Selkirk while Preston Athletic travel to Gretna 2008 looking to go three unbeaten.

Third-placed Spartans, meanwhile, visit bottom club Threave Rovers.
