Ormiston manager Brian Johnston will be hoping to see his side register a third straight league win when they host Eyemouth United at Recreation Park.
Last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Kelso United saw the East Lothian side move on to level points with unbeaten league leaders Peebles Rovers, and with recent consecutive wins over Burntisland Shipyard under their belts, Johnston is looking for the good form to continue.
“We have had a few postponements, and last week we had to switch the Kelso game to Recreation Park due to their pitch being unplayable,” said Johnston.
“But we’re grinding out important victories at the moment and it’s looking promising. It’s important we stay in contention at the top, because Duns and Heriot Watt still have games in hand on us,” added the Ormiston manager, whose only injury concern for tomorrow’s game is Jordan Mack with a bruised rib.
Heriot Watt University host Hawick Royal Albert at Riccarton, with the students hoping to get some long-awaited competitive action under their belts after not completing a full 90 minutes last month due to postponements.
Both of tomorrow’s matches have 2pm kick-offs.
Morning pitch inspections are likely for both fixtures.
