Testimonial for McGauley

Have your say

Whitehill WELFARE will play a testimonial match in recognition of Peter McGauley’s
50 years of service to the Rosewell club.

McGauley, the current Whitehill secretary, has undertaken a plethora of tasks from player to treasurer of the club.

The game will be played on Sunday, September 30 (kick-off 1pm) at Ferguson Park and will involve a match against a squad of former Whitehill players who have worn the club’s claret-and-blue shirts since they joined the East of Scotland League in 1979.

Any former players and backroom staff interested in attending should contact the current manager, Mike Lawson, on 07847 958 890.

A collection will be taken and the proceeds will go to a charity chosen by Mr McGauley.
