Dorian Ogunro wants to see a combination of performance and finishing when his Edinburgh Uni team welcome Dalbeattie Star to East Peffermill tomorrow.

The Students recorded an impressive 5-0 win away to Gala Fairydean Rovers last weekend, but Ogunro believes they’ve been better this season. “We did play well because we scored the goals, but we’ve played better and lost,” he said. “We played better when we lost against Inverurie and East Kilbride, so I’m looking for a similar, but better performance.”

The Uni coach knows that will be easier said than done against difficult opposition. “They’ve had some great results,” he admitted. “They beat Edinburgh City 1-0 at home. They had a tough result against Cumbernauld but if you look at their results in general, that was the one bad one out of their recent ones. Dalbeattie are always a good side. They’re well organised, play good football and they’re good on the counter attack. It’ll be very tough for us, even though we’re at home. I hope we get a good performance but it’ll be a tough game.”

Elsewhere, Preston Athletic travel to K Park, hoping to repeat their recent 2-0 home win over East Kilbride.
