Mark Burchill has been sacked as manager of Livingston.
The 35-year-old, who took over at the Tony Macaroni Arena 12 months ago, leaves the Lions second-bottom of the Ladbrokes Championship on 12 points, four clear of bottom side Alloa.
Burchill won the Petrofac Training Cup earlier this year and managed to haul Livi away from relegation on the final day of the 2014/15 season after they’d won five of their last seven games.
However, defeat by Alloa two weeks ago and last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Dumbarton appear to be the final straw for the Livingston board.
The club’s next match is away at St Mirren on Boxing Day.
