Musselburgh took the lead on the hour when good interplay in midfield saw the ball played into the path of Paul Tansey who placed it low past the advancing keeper.

Kelty almost equalised with 15 minutes remaining but Conrad Courts’ shot came back off the post and, with ten minutes remaining, Musselburgh grabbed a vital third goal when Paul Tansey outpaced the defence to fire low past the keeper. With five minutes to go Mattie King was unlucky not to get a fourth when his 25-yard shot struck the bar.
