Scotland look for home win

Tynecastle plays host to Scotland’s women side tonight as they play their first home match of qualifying for the 2013 European Championships.

Wales are the visitors to Gorgie this evening and will be looking to atone for a 4-1 defeat to group favourites France in their first game.

Conversely, the hosts, led by captain Gemma Fay, are looking to maintain the sort of form that saw them open with a 6-1 trouncing of Israel in Tel Aviv.

Fay, 29, who will win her 136th cap, has only to win six more caps to overtake record-holder Pauline Hamill.

“Becoming the most capped player is not the target,” said the Celtic custodian. “Football is not an individual game, so the target for me is more about the team.”

Kick-off 7.00pm; entry £5 for adults and £2 for concessions at gate.
