That match will be held at 3pm on Saturday 30 January.

It is a repeat of the 2007 semi-final, which was also held at the ground of Hibernian’s nearest rivals.

It’s a good omen for Alan Stubbs’ side as Hibs went on to win the trophy in 2007 after defeating the Perth side 3-1.

St Johnstone were also defeated at Tynecastle in the semi-final of the same competition two seasons ago when Aberdeen romped home to a 4-0 victory.

The other semi-final, Celtic’s match with Ross County, will be held at Hampden with a kick-off time scheduled for 3pm on Sunday 31 January.

Ronny Deila’s men defeated County 4-1 in a league meeting between the sides last Sunday.
