Golf: Buckstone begin Quaich defence

HOLDERS Buckstone Golfing Society have been drawn at home to Hailes at the start of their defence of the Sivewright Quaich.

Notable absentees in the event for non course-owning clubs this year are Scottish Life, the winners in 2010. The event starts with a single first-round tie, with RICS taking on Royal Bank for the right to entertain Bruntsfield in the next round.
